Have a valid Intervals.icu account (required for authentication and data access)

4. Account Registration and Security

Creating an Account To use PaceAdapt, you must authenticate via Intervals.icu using OAuth. By doing so, you authorise us to access your training data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your Responsibilities You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your Intervals.icu account credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised use of your account.

5. Description of Service

PaceAdapt provides an adaptive running-training platform that:

Connects to your Intervals.icu account to retrieve training data
Analyses your training history using artificial intelligence (OpenAI GPT models)
Generates personalised training insights and recommendations
Creates adaptive training plans based on your data
Syncs planned workouts back to your Intervals.icu account

The Service is designed to support your training decisions by providing data-driven insights and suggestions.

Not Medical Advice

PaceAdapt does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The training insights, recommendations, and plans generated by our Service are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare provider.

Not Professional Coaching

PaceAdapt is not a substitute for a qualified running coach, personal trainer, or sports professional. Our AI-generated recommendations are based on data analysis and general training principles, but they cannot account for all individual factors that a human professional would consider.

Consult Professionals

efore starting any training programme, and especially if you have any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns, you should consult with appropriate healthcare professionals and qualified coaches. If you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any concerning symptoms during training, stop immediately and seek medical advice.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

Assessing your own fitness and health before following any training plan
Making your own decisions about whether to follow, modify, or disregard any recommendations
Listening to your body and adjusting training accordingly
Seeking professional advice when appropriate
Ensuring any training you undertake is safe and appropriate for you

Assumption of Risk

Running and physical training carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, and in extreme cases, death. By using PaceAdapt, you acknowledge that you understand these risks and voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of injury or illness that may result from your training activities.

AI Limitations

Our AI-generated recommendations are based on the data available and general training principles. The AI:

Cannot see you run or assess your form
Cannot know about injuries, illness, or fatigue you have not logged
Cannot account for external factors such as weather, life stress, sleep, or nutrition
May not be suitable for all individuals or circumstances
Should be treated as one input among many in your training decisions

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We do not accept liability for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage arising from:

Your use of the Service or reliance on any information, insights, or recommendations provided
Any training activities you undertake, whether or not influenced by PaceAdapt
Any decisions you make based on AI-generated content
Inaccuracies in data retrieved from Intervals.icu or other connected services
Service interruptions, errors, or technical issues

No Warranties The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content or recommendations

Cap on Liability To the extent that liability cannot be fully excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

Consumer Rights Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law, including consumer protection laws in the EU, UK, or Ireland that cannot be waived or limited by contract.

Payment Processing Payments are processed through Wix Payments. We do not receive or store your payment card details. By making a payment, you agree to Wix Payments' terms and conditions.

Billing Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan). Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellation You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

10. Intellectual Property

Our Content All content, features, and functionality of PaceAdapt, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and the overall design of the Service, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on our content without our prior written permission.

Your Data You retain ownership of the training data you provide or that is retrieved from Intervals.icu. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to use this data to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI-Generated Content Training plans and insights generated by our AI are provided for your personal use. You may use these outputs for your own training purposes.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Use automated systems (such as bots or scrapers) to access the Service without permission
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
Share your account access with others
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these provisions.

12. Third-Party Services

PaceAdapt integrates with and relies on third-party services, including:

Intervals.icu (authentication and data synchronisation)
OpenAI (AI analysis)
Wix (hosting and payments)
OneSignal (push notifications, if enabled)

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

If Intervals.icu or other third-party services become unavailable or change their terms, this may affect your ability to use PaceAdapt. We are not liable for any disruption caused by third-party services.

13. Service Availability and Changes

Availability We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Changes to the Service We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will endeavour to notify you of significant changes, but we are not obligated to maintain any particular feature.

Termination by Us We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include breach of these Terms, abusive behaviour, or discontinuation of the Service.

14. Termination by You

Upon termination:

Your right to access the Service ends immediately
We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
Deleting your PaceAdapt account does not delete data stored in Intervals.icu; you must manage that separately

15. Governing Law and Disputes

19. Consumer Right to Cancel

Under EU consumer law, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases. By subscribing to PaceAdapt and accessing the service immediately, you acknowledge and agree that the service begins straight away and that you waive your right to cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period once you have accessed the service.

This does not affect your right to cancel your subscription at any time going forward, as described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
